Biking along the paved Joseph Plumb Martin trail is a great way to get some exercise and experience Valley Forge! The main part of the trail makes a 5-mile loop and is easily accessible from many popular parking areas around the park. You can ride a bicycle or an e-bike on the Joseph Plumb Martin trail to see many of the park's iconic views, monuments, buildings, and statues. View a map of the trail for additional trail information. View the park brochure or pick up a hard copy from a ranger at the Visitor Center or from information kiosks located around the park. Bicycle rentals are available seasonally from The Encampment Store. Call 610-551-7870 to check if rentals are currently being offered and visit the Rent a Bicycle page for more information.

This trail is mostly wheelchair accessible. Some steeper sections do occur, but trail locations near Muhlenberg's Brigade and Wayne's Woods have long stretches of level pavemnt.
