Bike the Blackstone

Join a Park Ranger for a guided bike ride along the Blackstone River Bikeway. Guided rides begin at 5:30 PM on Wednesdays in July and August. Tours are between 5 and 12 miles in length and are offered at varying locations. Bikes and safety equipment are not provided and must be brought by participants. These programs are FREE and open to the public. Note: Weather cancellations will be noted on this page, the homepage, and on the Park's Facebook page. August 7, 2024 Titans of Industry - Kelly House to Slater Mill Start and End Point: 1075 Lower River Road, Lincoln, RI Length and Difficulty: 12.6 miles/Moderate (some street travel) Names like Brown, Slater, Kelly, and Wilkinson can be found across the Blackstone Valley. Ride and learn about the leaders in the early years of the American Industrial Revolution. August 21, 2024 Legacies on the Landscape - Kelly House to Lonsdale Start and End Point: 1075 Lower River Road, Lincoln, RI Length and Difficulty: 6.4 miles/Easy Industrialization left lasting scars on the Blackstone River Valley. Ride with a Ranger and learn about the industrialization of this section of the Blackstone River, the effects of pollution, and attempts to restore damaged landscapes.
