This is one portion of the Stewart County Arts & Heritage Quilt Trail. The automobile tour will take you to locations within the city and in the rural areas of Stewart County, TN. Some quilt blocks may have been moved. Please refer to the map quilt tour sheets for specific driving directions and information. You may find these tour sheets within the NPGallery or by requesting a paper copy at the Fort Donelson Visitor Center. This is a self-guided driving tour, which will take you to various points in the city of Dover and into the county. It was designed by the Stewart County Arts and Heritage Council, with assistance from federal and state partners. The quilt blocks may be found on old barns, businesses, or visitor centers. Some blocks may have been moved or relocated to another site. Make sure that you have plenty of fuel for the trip, as the distances from the city are sometimes over 20 miles. Addresses for the quilt trail are listed on the sheet. For further assistance, please contact the Ranger at the park Visitor Center.
