Enjoy Sunset at Rio Grande Village

Some of the best sunset photography can be had on the Nature Trail at Rio Grande Village. One can capture the drama and colors of the Sierra del Carmens to the east or the iconic "Hollywood Sunset" view of the Chisos Mountains to the west. Other more subtle views of the Rio Grande below offer alternatives to the classic sunset vistas. The trail is relatively easy and has some elevation gain involved. Footing is generally good but walking the trail after dark will require a headlamp or flashlight. After dark, watch your step! Night-time critters may be out and about.
