Join a ranger for a 55-minute cave tour through the Timpanogos Cave system. Enjoy the cool, damp, air, marvel at the delicate, colorful, formations and learn about the million-year process that has created these unique caverns. To access the caves everyone must hike a beautiful but steep 1.5 mile trail to the entrance. Check the website for seasonal closures and hours.

Wheelchairs, or anything with wheels, are not allowed on the cave trail due to the hazard created by the grade and cliff edges. Service animals are allowed on the trail and inside of the cave.

Yes — Tickets often sell out prior to the tour date. Make a reservation online to guarantee your ticket.

Age Info

Although there is no age limit, participatns must be able to hike up the strenuous 1.5 mile trail prior to the tour. Strollers, wheelchairs, and anyother wheeled devices are not allowed due to the grade of the trail and the hazard of the cliff edges. Children younger than five often need carried on the trail. Metal framed child carriers are not allowed in the cave but can be used to help carry a child up the trail.
