Marsh - Billings - Rockefeller National Historical Park

The Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller Mansion exterior, gardens, and grounds are open year-round from dawn to dusk. Tours of the interior mansion are available from Memorial Day Weekend-October 31. Tours focus on the history of the conservation movement and the parts played by the generations of families that lived in the home. Tours sell out quickly and advanced reservations are recommended. Exterior Mansion, Gardens, and Grounds The mansion exterior, gardens, and grounds are open year-round from dawn to dusk. Admission to Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park is free of charge. Programs Sell Out Quickly, Reserve in Advance Ranger-led programs are offered during the visitor season, from Memorial Day Weekend through October 31, every Thursday to Monday (please note that there are no programs on Tuesday and Wednesday). Advanced reservations are highly recommended, and you can reserve spots for programs up to 60 days in advance. To view the current program schedule or reserve a spot, please visit Recreation.gov or call 802-457-3368 ext. 0 to speak with park staff. Please be aware that availability of walk-up tickets is not guaranteed. If you're interested in a shorter visit to the interior of the Mansion, you can book a spot for The Mansion Experience: Self-Guided Tour, available Thursday to Monday between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Fees for Ranger-Led Programs Adults (age 16-61): $13 Seniors (age 62 and over): $11 Children (age 15 and under): $1 Fees for the Mansion Experience: Self-Guided Tour Adults (age 16-61): $6 Seniors (age 62 and over): $6 Children (age 15 and under): $1 Important Information Ticket prices include a $1 non-refundable reservation fee charged by Recreation.gov, applicable to both online and on-site reservations. Cancellations must be made at least two hours prior to the tour for a refund of the ticket cost. The $1 reservation fee cannot be refunded. General reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance. Programs that show "Day of ticket release" will become available at 10:00 a.m. on the day of the program when there is staff availability. The park operates a cashless system and only accepts credit cards. Parking Parking for Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park is available at the Billings Farm & Museum. During the visitor season (late May to October 31) a small accessible parking lot is available next to the mansion for anyone who cannot walk up the short, steep hill (no accessibility pass needed). Follow signs labeled for accessible parking at the park entrance. There is also a car service available for pick up from the bottom of the hill during special events and busy weekends. All formal side mansion tours are wheelchair accessible. Please let us know in advance of your visit if you or a member of your group is using a wheelchair so that we can set up our temporary wheelchair ramp. There is an elevator in the mansion for access to all floors on the formal side. The Carriage Barn Visitor Center is wheelchair accessible.
