Absolutely loved it here, although the ribs were better than the 2kg steak we all shared. They were to absolutely die for. Beautiful bottle of blanc de blanc as well, thanks for a great night!
We had a wonderful dining experience at A Hereford Beefstouw. The food was absolutely excellent. Full marks for taste and quality. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the steak and the salad, which I would highly recommend. The service was also very warm and friendly. The staff patiently explained the dishes and wines to us, and when we couldn’t decide which wine to choose, she kindly offered us a tasting. That was a very thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. I celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday here. Although I mentioned it was for a birthday celebration when making the reservation, there was unfortunately no birthday related arrangement, which was a bit disappointing for us. Despite this, the overall experience was still very satisfying. We left feeling full and happy.
Average visit which can always be redeemed with an edited review later. Definitely keen to come back in the future. Service was just okay. We were seated and waited 15 minutes just for water and for our order to be taken. By the looks of it, understaffed maybe? You had the same two waiters running orders, making drinks and taking orders. It’s a bit much especially when you hold high expectations of this place Food, wasn’t bad but did go wow. Steak was nice, but sides and overall order took way too long for the amount of people within the restaurant. Nicely set out restaurant with good background history. Thanks guys!
Great food if you like steak! Not cheap but you will get a good steak cooked exactly how you like it. The service was great and the place looked high end classy. Bring your credit card!
Lovely atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. Unfortunately, I was fairly disappointed with The steak. It was a beautiful dry aged fillet But for $58, I would expect some nice black crispy Char and flavour on the outside. It’s like their grill is barely even hot. You could do a much better cook on your Webber. Definitely wouldn’t recommend paying that for the steak, but the ribs looked really good. Might be worth coming for them.
