Do not ever take your vehicle to this location. They were sketchy from day one! Transmission was supposedly out. $6800 and 3 weeks later we picked it up to find 2 loose bolts where it mounts to the engine. We have since checked other Transmission shops and every one of them said we got ripped off. We struggled to pay for this. My husband sat without a truck and couldnt work for 3 weeks because of this. I wish I would have read the reviews before we took it there. Never again! Just plain poor management! Ridiculous! Called the GM left message and sent pictures. No reply as of a day later!
Kind employees. They looked at my lifted jeep to diagnose noise, recommended I take it to an off road shop. They did not charge me for diag.
Came in with two specific issues, was told to do one repair which didn't solve the problems. Car keys were handed back afterwards, as they were closing on Friday, as if the car was in normal operating condition. Barely got home with the same problems. The small skull manager Chris couldn't have cared less. Ended up losing about $400 in lost income because I couldn't use my vehicle. Stay away from this place because they are way too comfortable taking $1000 and not fixing the problem at hand. I've never had my car given back to me where it's not drive able. The techs must dumb too then if they communicate that the car is in normal running condition which it completely wasn't. Stay away, people. This place can go away and Austin would be better off.
I am so impressed with the AAMCO staff on Stassney Lane, especially Chris who has been so helpful during a very stressful time for my family. They have been been nothing but professional, insightful and have gone above and beyond what I would expect for customer service. I would recommend their service to anyone.
