I love coming to here not only because Maggie is super helpful and has really great selections for gifting but her personality really shows in how the space is decorated. I've also been more conscious of my purchases and shopping small as well as purchasing items that are more sustainable. This is the place for that!
Burke Mercantile is one of my favorite shops in Long Beach! The shop owner, Maggie, is such a delight and brings so much to the community - from her conscientious and sophisticated design sense to her collaborations with other designers and change-makers to her sheer positive energy. What is clear is how much heart goes into everything Maggie does for Burke, Long Beach, and the greater community. She curates the most wonderful array of clothing, accessories, housewares, beauty products, and more. It’s the best place to go to buy a gift for almost anyone on your list, but you probably won’t leave without eyeing something for yourself. Thank you, Maggie, for being such a bright spot in Long Beach!
The most beautifully curated shop. From the moment you step in Maggie greets you with warmth & you feel her passion for all the treasures she has in store! Burke Mercantile is one of my favorites because she sources brands that reflect not only groovy aesthetics in their design, but most importantly they are brands with strong ethics in quality & sustainability. You won't regret taking a peek into this wonderful space.
One of my favorite shops in Long Beach, Maggie is the best and is so sweet and helpful; always carrying the most inspiring artists and designers! I love walking through the neighborhood and seeing her in there always friendly and welcoming - purchased the most AMAZING & COMFORTABLE tie dyed dress with pockets which I will now be LIVING IN!
