I’ve spent years in the car audio industry—back when I was a manager and installer myself—so I’m incredibly picky about who touches my vehicle. When you’re used to doing every wire and mounting bracket yourself, it’s almost impossible to trust a shop with your car. California Audio is quite literally the only place I’ve ever let perform an install other than myself. There are plenty of shops in Utah, but Alan Withers is the last one standing for a reason. He’s a genuinely good dude who has stayed true to the craft. The crew there doesn't just 'slap it in' and send you on your way; they actually know the science behind the sound. They carry brands because the gear is high-quality, not just to fill shelf space, and they never push the BS or try to over-sell you on things you don't need. I drove all the way from the East Bench in the middle of rush hour traffic because I knew I’d get a deal I couldn't pass up and service that is second to none. If by some rare chance you do have a problem, they actually stand by their work and fix it. If you’ve been in this game a long time, you know this is the best shop in the state, period.
I had an amazing experience with California Audio! My husband ordered a full stereo system for my truck and the team here handled the installation. They were friendly, quick, and did a super clean job. After I moved out of state, I started having an issue with a power draw coming from the stereo. Even though I wasn’t local anymore, I called in and Trevor went above and beyond to help me troubleshoot it over the phone. He was patient, knowledgeable, and walked me through everything until the issue was completely resolved. It’s rare to find a business that still cares about you after the job is done, especially once you’re no longer in the area. I’m genuinely so thankful for the help and the great customer service. Highly recommend California Audio for anyone needing an install done right!
The folks here at California Audio are amazing people! They have great customer services and we have always been exceptionally pleased with our service there all the way around. These folks stayed an extra 3 to 4 hours past closing this past Saturday just to be able to finish a wiring mis-hap on my sons truck and get it back to us same day. They did an amazing job and are the only folks to touch our vehicles when it comes to what they do.
5 Stars is not enough for them. We had them put in a new update sound system for our boat and they have been so great to work with. Their quality and service is the best. 10 stars for them!
I’ve been coming to California Audio for over 22 yrs. I own very high end cars and Alan and crew have always went over and beyond my expectations. This time I only brought in a 2020 Mustang GT but it only has 15,000 miles and $40,000 worth of upgrades 900 hp and that’s very scary to just drop off and leave with somebody Once again, they blew it out of the park My car came with the factory subwoofer, but I pulled that to relocate the battery in the trunk per white transfer I have them do a subwoofer and JL amp and the install was absolutely flawless. Once again, very happy I can’t shout out enough to Alan and his guys for the quality work and standing behind what they do.. if you were trying to choose for one place to another, I would definitely go with California audio their doors are always open and it doesn’t get any better than them
