What a great experience! This place absolutely deserves your business. Andrew was a pleasure to interact with- kind, informative, and engaging- while also being a talented professional. I was given excellent advice, and the end result was even more than I anticipated. I loved it. My look was refreshed, my beard better than ever, and my new haircut had me feeling confident. The decor is great. It really feels like a place where you could hang out and have a friendly conversation. Kyle and Andrew both took time out of their day to talk with me about mutual interests. They even had a Mortal Kombat machine! I can't recommend this place enough and I'll certainly be back.
This is by far the best barbershop in Ottawa don’t even second guess it, just go. Kyle was my barber for years before I moved to Mississauga and I can’t even describe how much I miss going into his shop. Absolutely incredible vibes at this shop you won’t regret going!
For some reason I have not been able to find a barber who can cut my hair without buzzing it all off. Andrew listened, knew what I wanted and did a great job! My partner complimented it for weeks. Just went back for the second time and am very pleased again. Nice folks, great service, and good price point.
I had my first experience at Copper Coin Barbers Den just today, and I am here to sing the praises of Ty, who I was lucky enough to have cut my hair. From the get go, I knew Ty was a true professional with an intuitive talent you just can’t find in every barber today. I won’t lie: as a queer female entering a historically “male” space, I was nervous about booking with a barber, despite Ty’s friendly nature upon my first meeting them a couple of weeks ago at a local market. Any anxiety I had disappeared almost immediately: I was spotted by Ty waiting outside for my appointment and was immediately invited in and made comfortable. The conversation was great, and as I was to discover, the fresh cut equally so. I had a few ideas of my own going in, and Ty was able to work with me to create something that suited me—not just a model in a photograph. I could go on, but at risk of repeating myself, let me just say that Ty is THE barber you want cutting your hair if in Ottawa, ON. Personable, immensely talented, and evidently loves what they do. Thanks for having me, Ty and the Copper Coin Barber’s Den!
Kyle and Andrew are fantastic. Always good chats with Kyle. Consistent clean cuts. Prices are quite reasonable especially in this day and age. Would recommend Copper Coin with confidence to any guy looking for a new barber / change from their current one.
