Centro de Danza Creativa, ubicado en 12577 Densmore Ave N, Seattle, ofrece programas para múltiples edades dirigidos por docentes fenomenales con una sólida trayectoria en danza. The teachers at Creative Dance Center are truly phenomenal! Even for the youngest students, classes are taught by amazing dancers with impressive backgrounds in dance who are also incredible with kids. My little one has attended different weekly classes and summer camp, and the passion, fun, and high quality of teaching is always there. It’s refreshing to find this mix of expertise and consistency. The instructors have told me it’s thanks to Terry, the director, who makes sure they have all the tools they need to be great instructors, and it’s also clear that each and every one of them brings a real love for what they do to the studio.
What a wonderful experience it has been to go to Nurturing Baby dance class at Creative Dance Center with Terry! My baby (now 10 months) has been going since she was 4 months and it has been such a great class to learn how to move, dance, and play with baby in ways that support baby’s physical and motor development! I have also made many friends with other parents there and my baby looooves going and seeing the other babies there too! I highly recommend this class for those with and without concerns about their baby’s physical development. It has been such an important part of my learning and supporting my baby’s development.
Creative Dance Center is a diamond in the rough. We have been taking our kids to classes here for nearly ten years, and have had nothing but positive experiences. Not only is the teaching staff phenomenal, but the inclusive, whole-brain, everyone-is-welcome approach is emulated in everything CDC does. I love the multi-age opportunities for the children in the form of Mosaic Junior Dance company and Kaleidoscope. My kids love the shows every Mother's Day weekend, which has become a family tradition. Unlike other dance studios, the emphasis here is on how brain and body are connected, expressing yourself through movement, and working creatively with other people of different ages and ability levels. This place is outstanding and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
I’ve had two kids there attending since before they could walk. The “Brain Dance” and strong community is an amazing addition to raising the whole child. Self choreographing dance makes it creative and cooperative not competitive. They are inclusive of all bodies and minds. My kids’ balance and movement would not be the same without Creative Dance Center and their long standing tradition to be there for their development.
