Had an excellent dinner at Deery's. The staff was excellent and helped us pick a good wine to go with our delicious steaks. They had an excellent selection of beef cuts and quite an extensive wine list. Everything we ate was tasty and portions were good. We will certainly return when in Brisbane.
We were lucky to be served by Christian and our experience couldn’t have been better. His attention to detail was outstanding, he was always attentive to the our table, and you could clearly see he looked after every table with the same level of care. What truly stood out was his passion for food and hospitality. He explained the dishes, sauces and wines with genuine enthusiasm, clearly showing how much he loves what he does. Thanks to him, our experience was even more special, and we would happily return. On top of that, the food was absolutely amazing, making it a perfect dining experience 🥩🍷
Enjoyed a late lunch the Friday before Christmas with a large group of friends. The service was good and food came out with minimal waiting, considering the restaurant was full with large groups. The food was as always good, most of our table dined from the steak menu. I went the pork and really enjoyed my meal and the veg sides. Wine menu was good but beer menu very main stream with little choice outside the norm for a large hotel.
Magnificent! Sarah and Grace were fantastic and friendly team members who steered us in the right direction with their menu suggestions and specials! I’d go as far saying Deery’s is underrated and possibly the best steakhouse in Brisbane, having experienced quite a few! The staff, service and quality of all food (especially steaks) as well as delivery of the food was impeccable and was delivered in the exact sequence as it was ordered. The extensive wine menu tops it off in a great atmosphere. Having lived in the area for 7 years now I’ve been meaning to go here so often and now realise what we’ve been missing.
I had a fantastic experience at this steakhouse. The food was cooked to perfection – my steak was tender, juicy, and full of flavour, easily one of the best I’ve had. The sides were fresh and well-prepared, and everything came out at the perfect temperature. The service was equally impressive. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu. They made excellent recommendations and ensured that everything we needed was taken care of quickly. Overall, a great combination of quality food and excellent service. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch steakhouse experience!
