Desert Foothills Gardens Nursery is a standout garden center if you’re looking to enhance your outdoor space with beautiful desert-adapted plants and unique garden features, from vibrant cactus and native shrubs to striking fountains and pottery that give your landscape character and charm; the staff are friendly and clearly love what they do, offering helpful guidance on plant selection and landscape ideas that work in Arizona’s climate. While it’s not the cheapest place around, the quality of the plants and décor is excellent, and walking through the nursery has a relaxed, inspiring vibe that makes planning your garden a pleasure, perfect for both novices and seasoned gardeners alike.
What a great place! Tons of different cactus and plants. Very helpful staff, Kenna was so friendly, patient and helpful. Drive right on by the warehouse stores and come here!
Cannot give zero stars unfortunately. Be aware….no warranty on plants bought and taken home…spent, I mean donated $200 for plants that died within a month. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE, go dig up in the desert for free, better plants there.
Desert Foothills Gardens Nursery is a large open nursery along Cave Creek road and just south of Carefree highway. Walking through the boulders and basalt towers is a kind of meditative experience. Nurseries are one of my happy spots. I could just walk through them all day. I've bought outdoor plants and shrubs here. I've picked up fun fairy garden items for my kids. I've daydreamed of new landscaping with some of their pottery and fountains. It's a great nursery to browse.
Beautiful place. So many cool things to look at. Some very unusual. It was hard to find help. But it is a huge place. Very pricey compared to other nurseries. We found a nice rock for our collection..payed $30.00. $$$. But it is beautiful . 😉
