First time at this location. Went in as a Walk-in for lunch. There was only about a 15 minute wait. I found the tables to be kind of small, we were a party of 5. I did ask the host that sat us down if they did anything for birthdays and she just told us she wasn't sure that she didn't think so. Would've been nice if she would've asked, we were there celebrating two birthdays. Overall, the food was amazing! Everything tasted great. We ordered the soup dumplings, cucumber salad, baby back ribs, shrimp fried rice, pot stickers, spicy wontons, garlic green beans, and the chocolate mochi. Our server was very friendly as well.
Their vegetarian and vegan dishes are amazing! On the savory side, we ordered the vegan spicy wontons and vegan dumplings. I preferred the wontons since they come in a flavorful spicy sauce while my wife liked the dumplings for their lighter taste. For dessert, the chocolate mochi xiao long bao were outstanding and easily the best item we ordered. The chocolate buns are fine but skippable relative to other items. The ambiance is excellent especially the patio seating with an outdoor fireplace. park in the structure 8 on level 5 and takes you directly into the restaurant
I am a huge fan of Din Tai Fung and have pretty much visited all of their locations, but this time I brought my whole family to celebrate a birthday—and once again, everything was absolutely amazing 🤩!! I honestly can’t express how good the food is, from the appetizers to the main dishes. My entire family was shocked by how quick and efficient the service was. Everyone was incredibly kind and accommodating, especially when we ended up adding two kids to our reservation. We mentioned that one of my nephews has autism, and they were so thoughtful in seating us at a more isolated table, just as we requested. I truly appreciated that, since many places don’t always accommodate those needs. The restaurant itself is modern and aesthetic—perfect for taking pictures. I also love that they have a window where you can watch the dumplings being made fresh. We ordered a little bit of everything and didn’t realize how much food it actually was, but our waiter continuously checked in with us and made sure we didn’t over-order, which I loved. If you go, don’t forget to try the lychee martini—it’s fabulous! One funny thing to note: they don’t sing happy birthday 😂 Overall, an incredible experience as always. Highly recommend!
Yummm! My friend has been raving about this location and I was finally able to visit last week while in town. It did not disappoint! From the service to the food and atmosphere… Everything was amazing. Favorites: the orange green tea, shrimp & spicy wontons, shrimp fried rice, cucumber salad, mango shaved ice, and of course the chocolate xiao long bao with sea salt cream Our server, Brittney H., along with the rest of the staff, was incredibly welcoming and accommodating.
We wanted something a little light for dinner so we thought we’d give this place a go. Menu items looked and sounded good. We ordered. Arrived and waited a few minutes to collect our order. On opening we found the items carefully and well packed. Utensils and condiments were well organized and packaged. We enjoyed all of the dishes with exception of the hot and sour soup which fell a little flat and “not-so-sour”. Nonetheless, our meal was enjoyed and we’d hit it again. Thank you.
