What a wonderful group of professionals! Everyone is an expert and the leadership team ensures they are in a position to succeed! It is definitely an investment when you consider the cost, but the return on your investment is 150%. We have a 6 month old Golden Retriever who jumped on everyone and was generally a bottle rocket. After only 3 sessions we could see the massive improvements in behavior and it made ownership so much more enjoyable. She is still full of energy and every bit of a bottle rocker but we can now control her and enjoy the energy while also having boundaries when it’s not appropriate. All our family and friends who met our puppy PRIOR to training have raved about how amazing the program has been and how well behaved she is. Truly can’t say enough positive things about this amazing company!

As a business owner, I know we often hear a lot more negative feedback than positive, so I want to make sure you hear this loud and clear: your staff is amazingly spectacular. I honestly can’t think of a better word. From your office staff to every single person who interacts with me and Zara, the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. I was very nervous dropping her off for the first time — after so many years in the pet industry, I’ve heard more than my share of horror stories. But from day one, I’ve felt like everyone in your building is part of our extended family. I feel included in the process, supported, and truly cared for. And I swear Zara has gained a whole group of new aunts and uncles. I feel terrible that I’m forgetting her name, but the team member who has worked with Zara the past two days has been incredible. Her energy is contagious, and Zara absolutely adores her. She’s helped me feel more confident, too. Nate has also been fantastic. I’ve had so many questions, and he always takes the time to help. And James — his energy is just amazing. He brings such a spark into the room. The two girls at the front desk are so sweet and always greet me by name the moment I walk in. One morning I couldn’t even get my remote to turn on and felt like a total failure, and she helped me right away with zero judgment. Zara’s progress has me emotional. She is a different dog — so much more confident, so much more herself. Watching her grow has meant the world to me. So the purpose of this email is simple: to brag on your entire team, including you. We are so grateful!! I was so nervous to get a puppy but they have helped us with every step of the process. From puppy selection to group and individual training, Dog Training Elite has been a total blessing. Can't wait to raise this medic alert service dog with DTE!!!
A few years ago, I saw the DTE booth and thought to myself, “The day I have a fur baby, they’ll be the ones to train him.” Years passed, and when that day finally came, I didn’t think twice—I knew exactly where to go. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Thanks to DTE, I now have a loving, disciplined service dog who not only does his tasks when I need him but also gives me a sense of comfort and independence I never imagined possible. He’s completely changed my life, and I’ll forever be grateful for the bond and confidence their training helped us build.
I want to share a quick story, I have a rescue dog that has some ‘quirks’ so to say, behaviour issues with people, kids, and other dogs. I was at the end of my rope as he was snapping at children and people. I got ahold of Shelley & Graham at dog training elite. I was hesitant about the e-collar as my dog didn’t seem to like it at first, he was turned off, basically poubting for days. I pushed through as I was desperate. I’m only 1 month in to my training and I have a new dog. He’s no where near 100% yet but his behaviour, listening, and respect has changed so far beyond what I could have imagined. They were super honest with me about where my dog was at, and that they could never guarantee he would get where he needs to be but they would sure help me try. I couldn’t be more grateful for the honesty they portray as dog trainers and the help/support the team has given me so far. I’m so hopeful now that I can get my boy Saber to a healthy place of life where he can be a dog, and I can be the handler I need to be for him. Thanks for your support and help so far, it really is about training me more than my dog! I always look forward to our sessions!
