I was very pleased with Dr. Roof. They replaced some siding and painted the exterior of my house. The job was completed effectively and efficiently. The painters were great! They were easy to contact and I was able to communicate with a project manager throughout the process. The price I paid was fair and I highly recommend them and plan to use them for additional work.
I have an old house and Dr. Roof and all staff did an amazing job with repairs and fixing all of the problems! I will definitely use them again for another project in the new year! The siding repairs, window replacements were perfect and improved the quality! Very highly recommended! In fact, I referred my relatives to this company for maintenance on windows and siding. 5 stars all around! The project manager, Huso, was amazing and very honest, prompt, and attentive! We're in HOA in Atlanta that got our roof replaced for what is $30,000. immediately after getting the roof replaced we had leaks, eight or nine of them. So for the first 2 years they kept coming out and saying oh it's your problem is humidity. There's issues with your roof. Well as things went on water started pouring through every time it rained in five or six different places. We have streaks over 20 ft of our roof and they've come out and they keep saying we can't find a problem. It's your problem. The next guy comes out and sees he can't see a problem and tells us that oh we have a new server so we lost all the information from your roof and walked away..Eventually they said you know what just sue us. So that's the kind of company you're going to have to deal with when you deal with this company. The roof is so bad that the ceiling fell in. We have got about a 8 square foot hole in our ceiling that rotted through all .the hot air is running up through the attic and water poura in every time it rains we can't even repair it because it's now causing more of the ceiling to fall in. They know this and they've come out here and they haven't done a single thing. It's all lip service and ignoring you. Do not use them unless you like rolling the dice like this. So now we're looking at probably $50,000 in damage because it's been pouring into these apartments and the wood is rotting now the ceilings falling in. I wish I could post a picture here because if I did I think it would convince anybody looking at them for a roof job should just pass them on. Should accompany it like this even be allowed to fix roofs or exist? Update: the response from Dr Roof is not even close to accurate. They know very well our HOA. They know where we're located and we've called them at least 20 times over 7 years to get them out here. They know exactly what's going on. We had an investigative roofer go out there and be reported that The roof is not code compliant and was surprised it passed inspection. Did they even pull a permit in the first place? I can tell you they have not taken this problem seriously and have found every excuse to do nothing. They've been throwing around statute of limitations etc. But there is no statute here because it's a faulty install that continues to cause leaks to this date. We literally called Dr Roof within one month of the roof being completed to tell them we were experiencing leaks and they blew us off saying it's humidity or something else like that matter. We've had all members of the HOA calling them and they just effectively blow us off using language like they use below. There have been 7 years of promises that have never been followed up on. Several of over 100 pics have been added.
About 2-3 weeks ago, a big rain event hit the Atlanta area and of course the attic ventilation cap decided to leak big time. Dr Roof had repaired a different vent pipe leak previously and at that time had said the 20 yo roof was in good shape. I was dreading something more extensive. I went on line sunday night and was called the following Monday morning and had an assessment on Tuesday at noon. Within about 5 days two vent areas repaired at a reasonable price again. They have been in business since forever. That cant be said of many roofing companies. They did not try to sell me a new roof that i didnt need. I will call them again, no problem.
I had the roof replaced on a detached garage and had them add a small porch to the back of my house. They did a great job of the garage roof, but the porch is aesthetically rough compared to the architecture of the house. It looks very rustic and has lots of exposed wood that, unless I do more work to finish it, will be an eyesore and subject to rot. I understood they would paint and make it aesthetically match the house but the contract was vague enough I've had to settle. Bottom line: if you need a roof replaced they are as good as the next, but if you need something less cut and dry find another contractor. I edited this and dropped it from three stars to two because they joined me for payment before the job was finished, didn't respond when I expressed dissatisfaction and keep bugging me to ask for a review that I already posted.
