Not worth the money at all. Had a dry style, which took 14 min and 6 curls. They refused to offer a discount for lack of service and style - $40 for curls that lasted 10 min and took 14 to put in. Waste of your money
I’ve been to Drybar a few times in Las Vegas and Denver. Today’s stylist was an absolute nightmare. Why am I teaching her how to create the Old Fashioned look? She failed to listen to my request, insulted me, then proceeded to argue with me. If you want to leave feeling like you just argued with your big sister after she curled your hair with a Conair at home, by all means, give this Drybar a chance.
I can’t believe I was looking into getting their membership!! Experience: zero Outcome: negative Value: run away Let’s get into it: I had a gala that I was recognized at. It started at 5pm so going to get my hair done at 2:15 sounded like I have enough buffer. Upon arrival, I was greeted by two ladies who told me that my stylist would be there shortly. There was no where to be sitter in sight and the ladies did not bother to tell me there were other locations to wait. I did find an empty seat and started waiting. And waiting and waiting. After 15min I asked where my stylist was, same response: she’s finishing another client. After 30min I got really stressed out and decided I’d be waiting at their desk. Within two minutes they found someone (who I thought would be my stylist) to wash my hair. I get handled over to another stylist. Ok. That’s fine. Wish I knew what was going on. I share the style I want: glamorous/holliwood wave. Granted this place is specialized in blowouts right?! And they are the one offering the different types of blowouts. So I give her full control of my hair. My hair is actually super easy to style. After 45 min, I look under the TV and see my hair (the mirror in front of me was mostly blocked by a TV-weird). I tell the stylist I’m worried because she’s made some curls that are very tight for my hair and she’s very confident saying don’t worry when I will brush it will be the style you asked for. When she did brush I did NOT. I looked like Shirley Temple. See pics of what I looked like and what she was supposed to do. Ultimately I went home super upset, late, with zero apologies, and had to do my own hair!!! So all in all: - poor customer service - terrible service - I never felt so gaslight in my life.
It didn’t seem like the front desk girl or stylist wanted to be there. I requested the Hollywood waves and was told I couldn’t get that unless I had an event in 6-8 hours as it wouldn’t last. I didn’t care about longevity just wanted to see what the style would look like on me ahead of my bridal shower, but she said she would do something similar so I said ok. A lot of my hair snagged and got pulled out when she was brushing my hair, and when she was finished my hair was just unbrushed barrel curls, not even close to the Hollywood waves. She had me in and out in 30 minutes, didn’t even learn the stylist’s name as she didn’t speak outside of asking what style and how I part my hair. Definitely seemed rushed and like it was a burden for me to be there.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ GO REQUEST LIANNE I had an incredible experience at Drybar in Cherry Creek! My stylist was amazing – they did a fantastic job on my hair, were so gentle, and made the entire appointment fun with great conversation. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for top-notch styling and a wonderful atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!
