It's not just that the repairs are done quickly and flawlessly and at a more than fair rate that makes this place special, it's the fact that this business is run by the kindest, most honest family I know, and kindness and honesty are so rare these days. I love Excellence in Auto, and I highly recommend them!!! 🚗

After years of taking my car to another place (*cough* Jensen *cough*), I was really discouraged when our 2007 Toyota Sienna minivan started having issues again. I had put almost $20,000 into our van over the past 3 years just to keep it running so we could avoid having a car payment. I was about to take it back to Jensen, but one of my long time friends suggested I take it to this place instead. I'm honestly truly thankful that I did. From the initial phone call, and all the way through the entire repair process, Tom was incredibly kind, responsive, and thorough. He took the time to explain not only what needed to happen, but he also explained the "why" in detail. He turned me away from things that I though I needed to have done as well. He also gave me reassurance that my vehicle, while older and higher in miles, is still solid and in good shape. The only reason why I had put nearly $20k into the van over the past three years is entirely because I was taking it to one of the most expensive places in town. For this repair Tom charged me less than $800, but just to compare I called Jensen Tire and had them quote the exact same job. They would have charged me more than $1,300. My mind is blown. I'll be back for sure, and I'm thankful that I've found an honest mechanic who is going to help me stop hemorrhaging money on car repairs.

I’ve been taking my cars to Tom for about three years, and he has consistently earned my trust through his honesty and exceptional service. Tom is one of those rare mechanics who genuinely cares about his customers and never overcharges, upsells, or misdiagnoses. What first brought me to him was a car that had serious starting issues. Tom spent weeks troubleshooting it whenever he could, trying different parts and solutions. In the end, he was upfront in recommending that I replace the vehicle rather than continue spending money on repairs—and to my surprise, he didn’t charge me for the time or parts he had put in while trying to help. That level of integrity and dedication is hard to find. Tom has always been fair, honest, and reliable, and I truly appreciated the peace of mind that came with knowing my cars were in good hands. I’ll miss having him as my mechanic now that I’ve moved, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for trustworthy, high-quality automotive service.

I cannot recommend Tom & Excellence in Auto enough. We've been taking our cars there for over 7 years. He is always very fair, friendly, and never tries to upsell. I won't ever take a car anywhere else.
