Honestly such a wonderful selection, produce always fresh, and the prices are comparable to some of the specialty/healthy items in some bigger markets in the area. (A jar of the same jam was actually cheaper here than what it was in Andronico's.) And yes they have "healthy options" but they definitely also have funner less-healthy options, including my fave tortilla chips! The two guys who run it are so nice and have great attention to detail. Genuinely love stopping by this small but delightful corner store.
Al and his family have curated a perfect grocery store that is a dream-come-true for folks seeking healthy, ethical, and plant-based groceries. I can find more of the foods and brands I love here than at much larger stores. If they don’t have it, Al is happy to consider adding it to their inventory. The perfect little neighborhood grocery store! Great selection of healthy dry goods, frozen items, cheese, produce, and more. Al is super friendly and always helpful when I can't find something. Nice flowers too!
I'm so happy to have some healthy groceries in the neighborhood. There's great variety on top of some key basics. Al and his brother are very helpful and friendly! They even take recommendations which is really cool. For example there was a type of butter my partner likes that was unsalted and they also started stocking the salted one for her. I definitely recommend stopping by.
Awesome little market! They have quite the selection of organic everything in such a little corner store. Plus, they carry my favourite chlorophyll aloe juice that is sometimes hard to find and really good coffee brands. Its perfect for picking up some organic meat without having to go to large store or butcher. Such a convenient location too - near a bunch of muni stops to grab stuff for dinner on the way home. The guy who works there is super nice. Pop in to check it out!
