It was our first visit to the restaurant last night.From the minute we walked in everything was perfection, the place is amazing to look at and the staff were really approachable. We were placed at the bar to enjoy a drink whilst we waited for our table.When we was seated we were greeted by our host Rhiannon, she was the best host we have ever had, she was bubbly, comforting and very helpful when it came to choosing our options off the menu. The food was to die for .Could not fault this place 👏🏻👏🏻
I tried Gaucho Liverpool recently, drawn in by their January £10 menu. I went for the pan-fried haddock with spicy tomato and caper sauce and basil. The haddock itself was well cooked—flaky and fresh, not overdone. The sauce had a gentle kick and the capers added a sharp, briny lift, while the basil felt fresh and intentional rather than just decorative. Simple, clean flavours that worked well together. The fries were an extra £5, which is a bit steep given the main was £10, but they were crisp and well seasoned, so not a disappointment—just worth knowing before you order. The restaurant sits in a striking, spacious setting with high ceilings and plenty of natural light. The atmosphere is calm and confident, giving even a modest set menu a touch of occasion without feeling over the top. Service was friendly and efficient, and the dish arrived at the right temperature with thoughtful plating. Overall, though, for £10 the main dish is strong value, nicely presented, and far better than you’d expect from a January promotion. Just go in knowing the true cost of a “complete” plate creeps north fairly quickly. Worth it? Yes. A bargain? Almost.
Elegant, cool, beautiful and grand. We went for a Sunday roast which was delicious. Lovely, helpful and friendly staff. Chilled music on the sound system and then entertained by live musicians in a similar style while you dine.
Former banking hall now amazing restaurant/cocktail bar. Decor and the interior is absolutely stunning. We arrived bit late without reservation but there was no issues of getting in. Service was bit inattentive considering number of staff at the bar. Premium prices on drinks were fine considering ambience. We will defo come back for dinner when next time in Liverpool.
My spouse and I celebrated our 15th anniversary at Gaucho restaurant in Liverpool, and the experience was absolutely amazing! The staff went above and beyond to make our day feel special and memorable. The food was delicious and grilled sea bass fully recommended to try. Moreover, we were delighted to receive complimentary chocolate decorated anniversary message and two glasses of prosecco —such a lovely and unexpected touch! A special shoutout to our incredible waitress, Christine. Her exceptional hospitality and attention to detail truly made our celebration perfect. Thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable evening!
