Handsdown the best sandwich shop in San Antonio. The whole family enjoyed thier order. Bread was fresh and ingredients were perfectly grilled/melted to make the perfect taste combo. It's out of the way from where we live but will go out of our way to come back in the future!
I came in and the guy explained to me that it's not the 9th best sandwich in America. It's the 9th best sandwich shop in America, which I thought is still pretty cool. The guy was super excited to have us there as being new. He offered my kids free chips and drinks. I should have gotten the Italian. I think that's their most a popular sandwich and I think that's the one they're known for. They said they're also popular for their Philly cheesesteak they're Philly. Cheesesteak was good but definitely not the best one I've ever had. I'm going to go back again and try something else and hopefully I can take the food up to five stars. He also said he would give back my money if I didn't like my food. I did eat the whole sandwich. It wasn't terrible. I just don't think it would be the best this side of the Mississippi. But I have had Philly cheesesteak at John's roast pork in Philadelphia and I'm fairly sure that's one of the best sandwiches I ever had in my life. I will be coming back
This place is the best Deli ever! They also have the superior customer service to match the delicious food. My daughter wrote a letter to Santa and dropped it in Santa’s mailbox while we dined in. She received her letter from Santa and it made her day. Thank you Ginos Deli for your service to the community. Keep it up!
I always see this place when I commute to and from work. I finally got a chance to stop by during my lunch break and I was glad I did. The second I step in I was greeted by a few people and asked if this was my first time. I told them 'Yes, it is,' and they walked me through the process of how to order. I got the cheese steak sandwich with everything. I also got the chips and drink combo. The initial bite was amazing! The quality of meat and the way it was cooked was excellent. The bread also was delicious and had absorbed all the juices from the peppers and meat, adding another layer of goodness. I thought the sandwich was a solid 10! I will be coming back to try other items in the following weeks. 100% recommend if you are a person who loves a good sandwich.
My intuition led me to Gino’s and I am delighted to find my new favorite deli for reliably hearty subs! The wonderful folx of Gino’s go above and beyond in all their efforts!! Family friendly and delicious food made with a passion for quality and flavor?! I’ll be back with my family to submit our letters to Santa as well!
