Love it! Great staff, fun and clean place to bowl. Food at Smitty’s is very good.
I love supporting small businesses but I had a weird experience at this establishment last night. I attended with a group of people around 7:30-8 PM to bowl. I had a group of 8 & we are all African Americans ranging from ages 30-60. I asked to reserve a lane & was told that there weren’t any available for the rest of the night. The bowling alley closes at 11 PM. I counted 11 lanes open, when I asked if we could wait, I was discouraged that I wouldn’t get to bowl anyway. Regardless, of what I asked the staff, the answer was no. I wasn’t offered to go to the bar, eat, etc. I didn’t feel welcomed & neither did my group. I won’t ever go to this establishment again and I would encourage any diverse people to do the same. Very disappointing considering my group is full of entrepreneurs & executives at Fortune 500 companies. Gladstone Bowl, do better.
My group and I visited Gladstone Bowl and had a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience. There were about eight of us (all African-American), and when we approached the counter we were immediately told that all lanes were booked. However, we could clearly see at least 4–5 lanes open and unused. They also didn’t offer any alternatives like a seat at the bar or pool tables. It felt dismissive and discriminatory, and the way we were spoken to made us feel unwelcome. Especially seeing that other people of color have had similar experiences. We came in excited to have a fun group outing, but instead left feeling disrespected. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses how guests are treated, because no one should have an experience like this.
A very relaxed atmosphere and everyone is so nice. I go every Tuesday for senior day and love every minute. I heard the food was very tasty. I'll have to try something on my next visit.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Gladstone Bowling Alley is one of the cleanest and best-run bowling alleys I’ve ever been to. The staff are friendly, professional, and you can tell the place is managed by good people who care about their customers. I especially appreciate how immaculate the women’s restroom always is—it’s spotless every time I visit, which says a lot about the pride they take in keeping the whole facility clean. The atmosphere is fun, welcoming, and perfect for a great time with family and friends. Highly recommend!
