I visited Golden State dermatology for two reasons. They were unable to help me with either of them. They referred me back to my Primary care physician. He referred me to Golden State dermatology. So, I am over $150 out-of-pocket and I’m exactly where I started. The only recommendations That were offered were, “used cornstarch,” and, “stretch stretching and physical therapy.”
I had a basal cell cancer diagnosed at Golden State Dermatology, and removed there. I am grateful that one doctor was observant to notice it, and another surgeon removed it skillfully. The doctors were pleasant and competent. Could not ask for more.
All staff made me feel safe and comfortable. Very important, being this was facial surgery, about which I'd been anxious.The Dr. that removed my sutures was receptive, patient and informative.
I love being seen with Golden State Dermatology. They help me to keep track of a family history of skin cancer. And they have helped me with their recommendations. They recommended Dove Sensitive bar soap. And ever since I've used this bar soap my hands don't crack and hurt in the winter. And they recommended CeraVe shampoo and Conditioner. And I never knew there was a revitalization and rejuvenation hair products available. This hair product is amazing, and priced real well. And I am grateful for their kindness and welcoming environment of their Office in Berkeley. I couldn't have asked for anything more or better. I highly recommend Golden State Dermatology to everyone. The clinic staff members were cheerful and efficient. Dr. Bayan is a star. Her credentials are impeccable and she's pleasant, thorough, and open to questions. She gave me the most thorough skin examination that I've ever had. She handled a minor procedure with great skill.
