I could virtually camp here - the plants trees flowers are so healthy and well looked after. I am in a wheelchair and staff assist whenever I need. Their plant stock is fresh and healthy and even Bunnings refer customers to there. You even forget you are next to a train line weaving in and out of plants - finding treasures you never imagined. 10/10 on every level
Popped into Guildford Garden Centre looking for native plants, despite having my Pug with me they made us welcome. Margaret came to help as was so friendly and helpful, she really knew her stuff and inspired me with many idea. Thank you so much to the whole team, we're two of many many happy customers.
Excellent and highly welcoming experience at Guildford garden center. On my recent visit to Guildford Garden Centre on 29 October, I was struck by how beautifully maintained and inviting the space felt. The centre itself had a calm, welcoming atmosphere that encouraged me to take my time browsing and enjoying the surroundings, though i went there looking for just one type of plant. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the staff’s exceptional advice and guidance. From the moment I asked for help, they listened carefully to my questions and offered tailored suggestions rather than generic responses. Their depth of knowledge about plant care, soil conditions, and climatic condtions was impressive, and they explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, even for someone without advanced gardening experience. One particular highlight was the way they recommended specific plants suited to my garden’s conditions and location, providing practical choices of plants that will grow. This thoughtful approach gave me confidence in my selections and left me feeling supported rather than pressured or confused. The staff also provided practical tips on long-term care, such as watering routines, fertiliser use, and how to protect plants from pests. Their advice felt genuinely invested in helping me succeed with my garden, not just in making a sale. Overall, my visit to Guildford Garden Centre was both enjoyable and educational. The combination of a well-presented centre and staff who go above and beyond with their expertise made it a standout experience. Also, the prices are very reasonable too. Great little garden centre in Guildford Dropped in here and was really impressed. Everything looked well kept and healthy, and they’ve got a solid range of plants — from natives and flowers to fruit trees and pots. Staff were friendly and actually knew what they were talking about, which made it easy to get a few tips while I was there. Nice, relaxed spot and good prices for the quality you get. I’ll definitely be back for more.
As you walk thru the front gate you will be greeted with the stunning fragrance of lemon scented gum. There are an array of stunning and unusual plants of course I had to buy some.
