Greg is an exceptional sales person and Amanda pays attention to your likes and style and then designs for you. The quality and caliber of the furniture is first class and is predominantly made in the USA. I love the entire HSV team.
On the hunt for new master bedroom furniture with much doubt that anyone still makes quality furniture. Then we walked into this gem - Havertys in Huntsville. From the moment we entered until the time we left, we felt valued, at ease and very happy with our purchase. The saleswoman, Karen, was exceptional. She was personable, professional, very knowledgeable and provided the perfect amount attention - no pressure, allowed us to look around and knew when to step in to assist us. We have received our furniture and we absolutely love it. We cannot be more impressed with the quality. The gentlemen who delivered (up stairs!) were wonderful as well. We procrastinated on buying the comforter then found ourselves reaching out to Karen. Once again, she was wonderful to check on the status, place a hold on the incoming item for us and kept us updated. Upon visiting Havertys again to pick up the bedding, we met the General Manager, Walker. He was most gracious with his time as we spoke for quite some time getting to know one another. Walker is a very down to earth and caring person who clearly values his customers, employees and respects his company. It is clear what a great store Havertys is on every level from their staff to their products. We will be returning again this week to purchase a chair for which Karen provided samples of our favorite fabrics/designs (who else does that anymore?). I wholeheartedly recommend anyone who is searching for quality furniture to walk into Havertys. You won't be disappointed.
Met two awesome ladies today that happens to work at Havertys Furniture Store. Excellent customer service, friendly staff and very knowledgeable to help ease the decision making & buying process on my bedroom set. I had been looking for some dining room chairs to match my dining room table that were also comfortable. I talked to the sales rep, Tori, and she showed me several chairs that she thought might go with my dining room set. I did find one that I liked and she even called over the interior decorator to assist to make sure that what I picked out was going to go well with the table. I bought one of the chairs and took it home just to be sure it was going to work. It worked perfect for me and I ordered six chairs. We set up a delivery date and the transaction of purchasing the chairs might well. They also had a Furniture protection plan which covers anything that would go wrong with the chairs for 5 years. I highly recommend havertys.
We ordered a custom made $3,000 sectional and were told that usual delivery would take about 5-6 weeks. It took 11 weeks and when it was delivered the pieces didn’t fit together correctly. Customer service came out and we were told that it’s not uncommon for that vendor to produce flawed items and it was deemed acceptable by Haverty’s. If you’re searching for quality furniture, you should probably look elsewhere. Update: I received a phone call from the store manager Chris, who was very understanding and offered me several options to remedy my issue. That made me feel like a valued customer.
