All up a very positive experience. Andrew was very thorough with his diagnosis and repair of my Electrocompaniet ECI3 amplifier. As promised, the repair was done in a timely manner before Christmas. Happy customer. My amp has never sounded so good. 👍
I had my dads old Sony solid state amplifier refurbished by HFAS and they have done an amazing job in getting it back to sounding fantastic. Great communication during the process, with everything explained to me. Highly recommend for any vintage stereo work.
Took my neglected Mission Cyrus 2 amp in for some TLC , Sharron reviewed it and said they will inspect and repair if possible. Anyways a couple of weeks later I received a call saying it had been completely disassembled, cleaned and repaired , and was ready to go for another 10+ years. Andrew did a very thorough job and in such a short turnaround time, awesome. It was a pleasure doing business with two professionals in their field. 5 out of 5 for great work and prompt repairs.
HFAS brought my poor & neglected (but highly cherished) NAD 3020 back to life after 10-15 years of disuse, and a few years of abuse beforehand! Extremely knowledgable and clearly very passionate, they found a ton of faults, fixed them all without fuss and as I write this review the old 3020 is belting goosebump inducing tones out of a pair of B&W speakers for the first time in a decade at least! Very happy customer who will be lugging more gear into the shop in the future. Thanks guys :)
Andrew is a very knowledgeable and pleasant person to deal with. I entrusted him with my beloved Monitor Audio Efficiency Series speakers, which he tested and advised me that the high frequency drivers weren't in the best of health. After discussing options, I decided to get new h/f drivers and update the crossovers with new caps. Andrew fine tuned the pair, which now absolutely sparkle on top of the wonderful bass response they already had. I now have the pleasure of an extended life for these classic speakers. Thanks Andrew, and Sharron for great customer service and support. I thoroughly recommend them for your hifi needs.
