the staff here are so friendly. there are fun little things to do here sometimes too, like a build-your-own-plant-ornament bar. very cute.
Very nice place friendly staff and lots of Christmas tree options and many other options to meet your needs I highly recommend if your looking for a live Christmas tree or decorations. Or if you are just looking for plants they have you covered.
I've gone to Johnson's for years. The 13th street location has a much bigger more impressive greenhouse with tropical. I usually go to the location off Woodlawn. I can always find what I need. Great pottery selection. Also a great perennial selection. Sales and promos all year. Love it!!!!!
Outstanding Service from Max at Johnson’s Garden Center! I had the best experience at Johnson’s Garden Center thanks to Max! From the moment I walked in, he greeted me with genuine enthusiasm and went above and beyond to help me choose the perfect plants for my space. Max was incredibly knowledgeable—he took the time to understand what I was looking for, asked thoughtful questions about light, care, and layout, and even gave me tips on how to keep everything thriving. What really stood out was how passionate he is about plants. You can tell he truly cares and wants people to succeed with what they bring home. I walked in feeling overwhelmed and walked out feeling confident and inspired—with a trunk full of beautiful, healthy plants and a new appreciation for gardening. If you’re heading to Johnson’s, ask for Max. You won’t be disappointed—he made the whole experience easy, fun, and educational. He’s a gem and a big reason I’ll be coming back!
This Johnson’s is THE premiere plant destination of West Wichita, on 13th North, about evenly between St Paul and Meridian. It’s always an adventure to explore this beautifully maintained garden center and keeps looking perfect even in the hottest part of August. Johnson’s also bolsters one of the best staffs in the city, with my experiences being great whenever needing assistance indoors or out. I encourage everyone to give this business a visit anytime of year.
