Jose Duarte helped us sell our rental in Gilroy, and he went above and beyond anything I ever expected from a real estate agent. For context, I’ve sold two homes before, and both experiences were pretty terrible. One agent told us to spend a lot of money fixing the place up, then listed it low to “create a bidding war.” After doing all the work, we got one offer at asking, and that same agent told us to take it because “the market was slow.” It was frustrating and felt like they just wanted to make a quick sale. Jose was the complete opposite. Not only did he get us well above our asking price, but he personally went out of his way to make the home look its best—planting flowers, painting the front door, and doing little touches that made a huge difference, all without even telling us beforehand. That kind of dedication is rare. When it came time to buy our new home, Jose was just as amazing. My wife and I took our time finding the right place (I was checking Zillow every morning over coffee!), but Jose was always patient, never pushy, and truly wanted us to find the perfect home. In the end, he’s the one who found it for us—our dream home. We couldn’t be happier with the results, and even more than that, we’ve gained a friend in the process. I can’t recommend Jose Duarte highly enough.
Don’t hesitate- use Jose Duarte! Our experience with Jose was fantastic not just during the search and purchase process but even after as first time home buyers. Here’s what happened: We had been looking for a house for what seemed like years, browsing on Zillow and driving through different areas looking at dozens of houses. We had a budget in mind but also what we really wanted our house to be like. After working with Jose, he showed us two houses and really listened. When we drive up to the third house he found for us we knew immediately it was the one. I had never even heard of the area and didn’t a beautiful neighborhood like that existed. Jose helped us consider the offer, what to say to the owner but more importantly, the factors into what the price should be. And we for the house at the price we wanted! After Jose kept by our side, providing all his years of experience in the loan, the giving us referrals and meeting with house inspectors, with contractors, literally everything. To this day if we have a question or need a referral we call Jose. He really does have your best interest in mind!!
