If you don't know Kinwins is "gourmet" so you will pay the appropriate pricing. This establishment is in a great location and staff has very good customer service.
Literally the best hot chocolate in all of San Antonio! Maybe even Texas! It's great even in July! My ultimate favorite stop downtown! Beautiful store, perfect hours and a great experience every time. ❤️ 10/10
We came to Kilwins looking for ice cream and got it and much more! Vega helped us and she was so kind and helpful! She made the experience that much better! We had homemade waffle cones filled with delicious ice cream. You can tell it's made with quality ingredients. We got a variety of other chocolate goodies that we will enjoy in the coming days. This shop took me back and the goodies were oh so worth it!!!
Absolutely loved this spot! I tried the Toasted Coconut and Brownie flavors both were incredible. The toasted coconut had a rich, nutty flavor with a creamy texture, and the brownie was perfectly indulgent with chunks of fudgy goodness in every bite. Super fresh, not too sweet, and the quality really stood out. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was cozy and clean. Definitely coming back to try more flavors!
Stopped here right after visiting The Alamo, and it was perfect for the heat. We ordered peach ice cream and the Alamo Mud ice cream (two of each) and shared them. Both flavors were creamy and refreshing, but the Alamo Mud was our group’s favorite with its chocolatey crunch and richness. The staff was friendly, and the shop smelled like fresh waffle cones when we walked in. A great local spot to cool off before hitting the road.
