I cannot recommend Maria Fratus at Kiss Salon enough! I came to her feeling self-conscious because my hair had thinned noticeably due to GLP-1 medication. From the very first appointment, she took the time to listen, explain options clearly, and create a plan to help my hair look natural, full, and healthy again. Extensions: Maria matched the texture, density, and shade perfectly. The placement is flawless — hidden, comfortable, and so natural that even close friends can’t tell I have extensions. They’ve added fullness without looking bulky, and they blend beautifully no matter how I style my hair. Color (Blonde Shade): Maria has colored my hair several times, even before the extensions, and she consistently nails the perfect blonde. She took out all the brassiness and lifted it to a pure, cool blonde that looks bright, dimensional, and completely natural—not yellow, not dull, just the ideal clean blonde tone. What impressed me most is that she matched the extensions exactly to my real hair. She even remembered the same blend of products and shades she used previously from memory, so everything blends seamlessly. Cut: Maria has been cutting my hair for several months now, and even with thinning, she manages to make it look fuller. She added soft, strategic layers to create movement and shape, which blend perfectly with the extensions. The face-framing layers make everything flow together and give me volume without sacrificing length. Maria is truly an artist and a perfectionist in the best way. My hair looks natural, full, dimensional, and healthy — something I haven’t had in years. She gave me confidence back, and I’m so grateful I found her. If you’re considering extensions, blonde color work, or a great cut, Maria is absolutely worth it!
Alex is a wonderful stylist new to Kiss who has been keeping my look fresh for many years. She listens to me and also helps me pick the best easy-care look. I constantly get compliments about my hair! The salon is beautiful too!
I’m a dirty blonde who loves a golden balayage, and when Aaron left The Wharf to work at Kiss Salon, I followed him— because he is an absolute legend! No matter the occasion, I always look like I just walked off the red carpet every time I leave his chair. I am so grateful to have booked him at Bella Moda at The Wharf three years ago! Sad that I have to leave the neighborhood to get a cut/color now, but Kiss Salon is worth the trip because he’s there (and the rest of the team is very friendly too :)
I got my hair cut by Abigail! I would highly recommend her and will definitely be scheduling an appointment with her again. She listened to everything I said and frequently asked me questions to ensure I got the results I wanted. Plus, I had the most relaxing hair wash/head massage ever there!
