I don’t write reviews but brah. The actual bowling alley is good but the customer service is horrible. The old man at the front has an attitude problem & on two separate occasions now I’ve had to deal with it. He acts like this with everyone. One day he’s gunna do it with the wrong guy. Don’t ask about the league times you won’t get a straight answer… at least from him.
The alley itself is fine, and my family ended having a decent time, BUT from the moment we walked in we felt very unwelcome. The lady at the front was super cold and snappy, she seemed annoyed like we were inconveniencing her even though I had prepaid $160 to bowl there for 1.5hrs for my 17 yr old birthday. Her entire tone and vibe was so rude, we felt on edge the whole time we were there. We made the best of it and still enjoyed ourselves, but will never ever go back or recommend this place to anyone. I rather drive further and pay more to have a better experience.
I just called Leeward Bowl to just ask if they had any open lanes. Whoever answered the phone, answered the phone sort of rude, and didn’t explain anything. I worked at a bowling center for years in NC, and first impressions and customer service is everything. It breaks my heart to know as a bowler, we have people representing the bowling community with attitudes like that. We’re trying to get people into the game not drive them away. Hoping something changes here. All bowling centers should make customers feel welcome, regardless if they have open lanes or not. Super disappointing.
The bowling alley was decent overall. It can get pretty packed, especially in the evenings, so be prepared for some crowds. We paid $65 for an hour of bowling, which included shoe rentals for four people—not unreasonable, but not exactly cheap either. What caught me off guard was the tip jar being put out just as we were about to pay. It left me wondering—was I supposed to tip for bowling? The experience was fine, but that part felt a little awkward
First time to go inside Leeward Bowl. Arrived 15 to 20 minutes prior to the time of our reservation today. The front desk person told us immediately "I don't have any availability right now!" Bad customer service. He was rude and no respect. He never even greeted. Not polite and courteous at all. I told him we have a reservation and showed him my email confirmation. He just said it doesn't show on his end (showing his screen/monitor ) but didn't really checked on the list very well. He didn't even offer how we can fix this problem. My family ended up walking away. Not planning to go back there again.
