This review is long overdue - Marina is the most talented HMUA in the PNW. I loved working with her for my wedding in September, she was so kind and patient to me and my family. I wanted a less traditional wedding look (60s glam) and she executed my vision perfectly. I was blown away by the results, I felt absolutely amazing because of her. She’s talented, reliable, and an absolute gem of a human! I can’t recommend her enough!
Marina did my hair and makeup for my wedding and it was absolutely stunning. First of all, working with Marina was a dream. She is just a joy to talk to and be around. She always made me feel like the prettiest most confident version of myself from the hair and makeup trial all the way to the wedding day. Any time I asked questions or had slight tweaks she was so receptive to them. I also have the unique situation of having little to no eyelashes and it was important to me to have false lashes for the wedding — she made it happen and they stayed the entire time!! Seriously Marina is the best! Hire her!
Marina helped make my wedding day INCREDIBLE! She was so fun to work with. Provided such a good calming energy throughout the day. She is a true artist and was able to accommodate a variety of looks for my wedding party ranging from bold sparkly eyes to my mom’s subtle look. She handled all the chaos so well and for that I am extremely thankful. My makeup and hair was ASTOUNDING I have never felt prettier. I am not a usual makeup wearer and she accentuated my beauty perfectly and I felt so comfortable. I really was ME - but better! I wish I had the skills to look how I did on my wedding day, every day. My hair, as well as my wedding party’s, was also incredible. Styles held all day and looked exactly how we envisioned. Marina also has other services I have used like eyebrow waxing. She has taken my overplucked early 2000’s eyebrows and salvaged them! I can’t recommend her enough for any service from a basic eyebrow wax to wedding day hair and makeup. Thank you Marina!
Marina is the very best. She not only did my hair and makeup for my October 2023 wedding, but she also worked with me for almost the entire year leading up to my wedding to help me get my skin balanced and ready for the big day. She provided insight into why my skin may be the way it was, suggested a natural skincare regimen, provided the most luxurious and relaxing facials, and was never shy about sharing her expertise with me. On our wedding day, she was a calm and patient presence in my getting ready room. She was on-time, efficient, and friendly. She took my feedback from my trial and provided me with a hair and makeup look that made me feel beautiful, bridal, and most importantly, like myself. I highly recommend Marina for your special occasion hair and makeup, and if you're looking for help with your skin care regime.
Marina is such a gem! We love the opportunity to work with her. We see her continue to slay bridal looks that vary from effortless, makeup free to a glamorous, over the top with lots of volume.
