After many years of hiring Mr. Handyman for random household projects, they recently completed our kitchen remodel! We are very happy with the work, craftsmanship and attunment to our ideas. Everyone who came through our house was so nice and it was great working with them!
Had a great experience. Able to schedule and get some work done on my kitchen quickly. Mike was prompt, professional and kind with a lot of patience for my novice home owner questions and issues. He had great advice and went above and beyond, exceeding my expectations in every way.
Mike did a great job! He was professional and on time and completed several tasks for me. He replaced a bathroom faucet and light fixture, then hung up a large TV on a TV mount, plus put up another TV mount and hung the TV. I'm very happy with his work!
The agent Mike Swenson arrived perhaps 15 minutes early for the 8:00 A.M. appointment but waited in his truck so as not to disturb me. When he came in he surveyed the work I needed done and then planned out the solution so he did it very efficiently. He had them done in about an hour including a trip to get materials. He conscientiously did some sawing in his truck to avoid leaving a mess in my house. He let me watch his work and learn from it. I give him an A-plus!
WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS HORRIBLE TO SAY THE LEAST. PAID MORE THAN HALF A MONTH IN ADVANCE, DAY OF THEY HAD NOTHING READY. 5 GUYS SHOWED UP TO DEMO THE NEXT DAY WAS 3 THEN 2 THEN JUST 1. WE WERE TOLD IT WOULD BE A WEEK TURNED INTO 2 BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT PREPARED. WRONG STAIN, GUY WHO STARTED STAINING STOPPED AND LEFT AFTER DOING HALF A DOOR. DOORS HAD TO BE SANDED AND RESTAINED. WRONG PAINT, TERRIBLE CARPENTRY SKILLS. THEY SPENT ALMOST AS MUCH TIME GOING BACK AND "FIXING" AND REDOING THEIR WORK THAN ACTUAL QUALITY WORK. CALLED OWNER DAVE AND HE SAID WELL "THIS WASN'T OUR BEST WORK" AND THEN WANTED TO BLAME US BECAUSE AFTER SAYING YES TO HIS SUGGESTION OF GOING WITH A DIFFERENT CASING. THEIR WORKER JOSH COMPLAINED ABOUT DAVE AND HIS LACK OR ORGANIZATION BUT HE WAS A LAZY WORKER TAKING SHORTCUTS NOT USING PAINTERS TAPE OR TARPS-WHICH LEFT GREY PAINT SPOT ALL OVER OUR HARDWOOD FLOORS. THE CLEAN UP HE DID WAS THE BARE MINIMUM. PAID TO HAVE ALL NEW CEILING TILES PUT IN FOR A DROP IN CEILING, SAW THE BOXES OF NEW TILES, BUT ONLY A COUPLE WERE USED. OUR OLD CEILING TILES WERE PUT BACK UP AND THE NEW PAID TILES WERE TAKEN AWAY. (OLD TILES HAD PAINT ON THEM PAINT IS STILL THERE) THE ENTIRE TEAM SEEMED TO BE WILLING TO DO THE BARE MINIMUM WITH EVERYTHING.
