This place used to be one of my favorite spots to wash my car. Today I came in and noticed new equipment. Price doubled, New pressure washer had minimal pressure, Tri-foam nosel wouldn’t work properly. Because of that, I didn’t have enough time to finish rinsing my truck off. When I went to the office to see if I could get some help about the trifoam or rinse, no one could help me. There’s no manager on site or anyone that has authority to address my concerns. Won’t be coming back to this place.
It was annoying that none of the machines I tried would read my credit card. So I asked for change and the lone attendant was busy and told me to use the bill changer. But you get tokens only valid for this place and I only had a $20 which I was not going to do. I dug up $4 for tokens to start and $2 in quarters. That gave me ~7+ minutes of time I think and it ran out before I was done, leaving un-rinsed soap on my car. It did not give me a grace period to add a couple quarters for another minute…it demanded $4 to start over again. So I left with soap on my car. Disappointed.
I have been a loyal and regular customer of Oasis Self Service Car Wash in Henderson for over two years, but after my most recent experience, I can confidently say it will be my last. This business has completely lost my trust, and I think it’s important for other people to know what they might be walking into. When I pulled in yesterday, everything seemed fine at first. I swiped my card and activated the self-service bay. I started with a rinse to get the dust off my car, and that worked as expected. But when I switched over to the tri foam spray, the problems began. Instead of spraying onto my car, the foam sprayed down from the roof, covering me more than my vehicle. To make it worse, the pressure was almost non-existent, so even if it had been spraying correctly, it would have been useless. Frustrated but determined to finish, I switched to the soap brush option. I got about halfway through scrubbing when the machine just shut off. I swiped my card again to reactivate it, only for the machine to run a few seconds and then cut out again. I thought maybe it was just that bay, so I tried using three different cards. Same problem. Then I went to another bay entirely and tried twice more. Both times the exact same issue happened—the machine would work for maybe 30 seconds and then just stop. At this point, I was soaking wet, my car was half covered in soap, and I had already racked up over $30 in charges for equipment that flat out didn’t work. I decided to try and get help. The sign on the office door said to knock if assistance was needed, which I did (several times) with no answer. I then called the number listed on the door and had to leave a message. What kind of business has nobody around to help customers at 3:30 PM on a Thursday afternoon? It blows my mind that a place that relies on customers swiping cards all day doesn’t have anyone available when problems happen. This wasn’t the first red flag, either. On past weekends when I’ve gone into the office, the staff barely seemed interested in helping. Honestly, they’ve seemed more focused on getting high than actually providing customer service. I used to brush it off and keep coming back out of convenience, but after being completely ignored and losing $30 to broken machines, I’m done. Thankfully, this turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I’ve since found another self-service car wash on Windmill Dr that is clean, has properly working equipment, and staff who actually care about their customers. I regret the money and time I wasted at Oasis, but at least I know where to go now. If you value your time, money, and sanity, I would strongly suggest avoiding Oasis Self Service Car Wash.
I drove in from Texas for an event. I had a lot of bug debris on my vehicle that needed to be removed. I discovered that this car wash was near my hotel and decided to give them a try. Carlos was very professional and explained the services clearly. I was very happy with how clean my vehicle was afterwards. Will definitely come back and see Carlos.
Straightforward self-wash, 5 minutes for $4. You can buy towels, Armor-all, glass cleaner in single sizes from a vending machine. You can use credit cards or quarters. There are about 8 washing bays and about the same for vacuuming. Everything seemed to work as intended. No problems. It was not too busy on Saturday afternoon, and it was easy to get in and out. We washed/rinsed our car in 5 minutes and bought some towels to dry it off. My husband said the wash made our car look 400% better 😂.
