The staff at Owls's Nest are always friendly and helpful, with great recommendations. I also love when they have local authors, like James Fell come in for book signings.
Such a great bookstore with very cute bookish gifts, as well! I will go in there for a specific book and come out with an armload of books, puzzles, and games for all my upcoming gifting occasions.
I love coming to Owl's Nest and as an avid reader, I love supporting this small business over big stores. My last 2 visits (most recent being August 24th) the service has been absolutely awful! On this particular day, 2 ladies were working and neither of them said hello. While my friend and I browsed, they were having quite loud personal conversations and neither of them checked in on me or my friend. When it was time to pay, they made me feel very rushed. I don't think I'll be returning.
Hello I am Susan hear me roar. I absolutely love this delicate little shop. Finding so many intriguing books here inspired me to start writing Harry Potter fan-fic haikus and I have gathered quite an online following. Always lots of top quality novels to be found here and the staff are so lovely and wonderful.
