Every time I’ve brought my children here the experience has been excellent. The staff that welcomes us, our intake nurse, the doctor that sees us, and anyone else involved are extremely professional, patient, courteous and thorough. We’ve been here for everything from illnesses to injuries, and the care is top notch. In fact tonight I was expecting my daughter to have to have x-rays, but after the exam the doctor told us that would be a waste of time and money for us, and she gave some excellent advice and referrals. I wish I was young enough to go…😜
We got there when it opened and were checked right in, seen within 10 minutes of being there. Dr. Matt did a great wonderful job leaning in to ask questions about my daughter’s cough and taking the necessary steps to diagnose her and get her on antibiotics. I was very impressed with the entire staff and especially Dr. Matt!
Immediate and Friendly Service. We were visiting Rochester from far and needed immediate attention. So pleased with their attention. Recommended 100%
I have been here quite a few times with my 2 year old daughter. They have misdiagnosed her several times in the past. I say several times as I was giving them the benefit of the day to continue to go back yet still getting misdiagnosed. I go there one day- the next day the pediatrician office and get a completely different answer. This last time I went concerned my daughter may have strep on a Sunday evening ; the doctor who was a male comes in the room and instantly sits on top of the garbage can speaking to us in regards to what was bringing us there. He had a puzzled look on his face- almost dumb founded. He was very quick and not thorough seemed to be like he was in a hurry to get out of the room. The nurse came in to do a throat culture- which rapid test came back negative. They said they would still be sending it out. The doctor came in with a diagnosis that I was not satisfied with as the symptoms she was experiencing were not even adding up to the diagnosis that he gave us. I took her to the pediatrician the following day. They did not see the diagnosis that we were given at the urgent care- in fact thought it was strep. The pediatrician has sent off the culture mind you I took my daughter to the urgent care on Sunday it is now Wednesday and still have no results. I called the urgent care to see if I could get a status on the results and I was told that they were short staffed that they would call us. Please, for the love of god if you want proper care for your child along with a proper diagnosis and not just something that they came up with because they don’t know what’s wrong with your child go elsewhere. This is very unfortunate as they specialize in pediatrics and are local and have hours that are very suitable.
This place is beyond exceptional!! My step son fell and I rushed him here worried of a shoulder injury, I called ahead and the nurses were outside ready to assist me getting him inside, they immediately got him medication and within 10 minutes his X-rays were done, he was bandaged up, and I had all the information I needed. I have never experienced a place staffed with such perfect humans to work with children. Absolutely outstanding
