I have been a tutor/coach with Results-Learning for 10 years, after 32 years of teaching special ed in the public schools. I can honestly say that this is the best job I have ever had! I have been provided with all the materials I need to work with students, I have input as to my schedule, and I have been able to see growth in kids like I never got to provide in the public school setting. It is also nice to be treated as an educated professional and not micro-managed in a way that interferes with my teaching. Any time I have needed advice or assistance, I can get it from the excellent team of people working here, all the way up to the founder of the company. Working with kids and parents and school personnel can sometimes get a bit complicated, but I always feel appreciated and supported.
I have been with Results Learning for nearly 2 years and I am incredibly impressed with the team that is backing up their students. They are very deliberate in pairing the right coaches with students and they are very open and transparent about how and if we can meet a student's needs and are honest about that. Thus, when I work with a student, I know I am backed up with a lot of support from our team and they took my specific skill set and have me there to meet specific needs. Additionally, when I need support, my supervisor responds very quickly and promptly to my questions and provides resources in a timely manner. I feel as though every student I work with will be getting the best treatment. If I cannot help, we find a different coach, and if I get stuck, I get lots of back up. Other coaches are really honest as well and we collaborate when need be. Overall, it has been an awesome experience and I will probably stick around for a long while since the students we work with get a wide breadth of support and do exceptionally, and I want to be a part of that process.
