Very disappointed, I called to business to see if they would be able to repair a vest and add on 3 patches that I wanted on there. The lady say yes stop on in. I drive 30 minutes to the shop. Show the lady what I needed repaired and where I wanted the patches. She tells me it’s going to be 2 weeks before they can do them because they’re behind. Now I’m irritated because you could’ve told me this over the phone and I wouldn’t have drove an hour round trip for nothing. She did put one patch on which took every bit of 2 minutes. But I had to pay in cash which wasn’t a problem… but why not put the other two on there… didn’t make sense. In the future if a customer calls in advance be transparent and let them know in advance that you’re behind so they can seek other options instead of making a blank trip. 2 starts for the initiative.
What a wonderful business with such great service! My kid’s jacket zipper was faulty, they replaced it with a new one quickly saving me so much time and money. The shop is charming and their puppy is absolutely adorable. Thanks again for your help today, this will definitely be the place I go to for all my tailoring needs!
Brought a suit in to be tailored. The work was done on time and turned out nicely. The process was uncomfortable because I was spoken to dismissively. Edit: I dropped the suit off 8/21. I picked it up in early September. I wore it last week. I reviewed it after wearing it. Would you like me to post the pick of my yellow receipt paper?
Unfortunately, good customer service these days often feels like a thing of the past. It’s hard to find businesses that are truly willing to invest the time and energy to understand their customers’ requests. Today, however, I had an incredible experience at Seams Sew. As a small business owner myself, I recently discussed a need with some of my loyal customers. Based on their feedback, this place came highly recommended, so I decided to check it out. The time, attention, and genuine effort the owner put into understanding my request was absolutely refreshing. Although I ultimately chose to go in a different direction than my original plan, I want to extend my sincere kudos to this business for the outstanding assistance I received today. This will be the only place I ever go again for any alterations on my clothes. The ladies were beyond amazing people.. so very kind & welcoming. I needed a dress taken out for a wedding I was attending two weeks later. They warned me it may not work depending on how the dress was made.. long story short, it worked. I fit my dress and she also added fabric to the chest to make it a tad more modest from the hem scraps. I felt so beautiful in my dress and I have them to thank!! I will be telling all my friends to go here and will be back myself!! Thank you again!!
