Second side yoga is the Yoga Teacher’s yoga studio. The classes are challenging, creative, and deeply engaging. The vibe is welcoming and cool, and the mix of male and female students feels refreshingly balanced. The community here is amazing. They usually host a potluck on the first Monday of the month after the evening class along with other social gathering events. They also bring in excellent guest teachers and speakers. If you want to Studio, the challenge is you and connects to you with an inspiring community, this is the place.
Second Side is the speakeasy of yoga studios in Dallas. It has a boutique feel that naturally fosters a sense of community. The teachers are some of the best in the area—caring, attentive, and deeply dedicated. Jonas also leads incredible retreats in beautiful locations, offering the perfect chance to deepen your practice and connect with others. Whether it’s your very first yoga class or you’ve been practicing for years, Second Side is the place to be.
Second Side Yoga is truly a gem. I come here every week, and it’s become one of the most grounding parts of my routine. The space is welcoming, the community is kind, and the teachers are incredibly thoughtful. Yoga has helped me reconnect with my body and mind in a way I never expected—it’s brought me strength, clarity, and calm. I especially want to highlight Jonas Park, whose classes are deeply grounding and quietly powerful. He teaches with such care and presence that each session feels like a reset for both body and soul. Jonas class was a very good challenge and I really enjoyed it! He gave good modifications and I learned a lot in his class! Great good workout did poses I’ve never done before and I have my 200 HR Yoga Certification:) Sadly, I am moving soon but I will try to come back when I’m in the area! It’s such an uplifting environment!
Second Side is the nuts if you want to get awesome at Yoga, and looking for a tighter community of support. There isn't a more capable yoga instructor in Dallas that can elevate your practice. Most Yoga studios do not create the environment and atmosphere to connect with everyone that comes through the studio. Second Side does. His retreats, can't be missed.
