We came to this grooming salon with our dog and were extremely satisfied with the service. We actually flew in specially from St. John’s for this appointment, and it was absolutely worth the trip. The groomer was very patient, gentle, and professional, and immediately found the right approach to our dog. The coat was perfectly brushed and trimmed, the nails were done carefully, and everything was handled without stress. High-quality cleaning of teeth from tartar and plaque was also performed. It was clear that they truly care about animals and take their time to do the job properly. After the grooming, our dog looked great and felt comfortable and calm. Thank you for the excellent service. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a professional and caring groomer.

Today we visited the grooming salon “Sobaka”, and we were greeted warmly and with a smile! Even though our schedule changed and we arrived an hour and a half early, they happily welcomed us. Our dog played in their salon and was genuinely happy in the company of these amazing people. After the grooming, our dog looked adorable and smelled like expensive perfume. I’m so glad that my dog and I had such an incredible experience! We will definitely be back again!
This review is my formal response to the salon’s claim that my dog’s grooming was done “professionally.” The facts below clearly contradict that statement. Grooming failures: 1. No ear cleaning was performed. 2. No removal of excess ear hair, despite the breed’s predisposition to ear issues. 3. No bathing was done before the haircut. 4. No drying or blow-drying was performed after the haircut. 5. No brushing or detangling of the coat. 6. The long hair on the head was not touched at all — not untied, not brushed, not groomed. 7. The haircut performed was not the one agreed upon with the owner, and major changes were made without my consent. 8. Basic hygienic care was not provided, and my dog was returned in an unkempt condition. Senior-dog grooming standards that were NOT followed: 9. No gentle ear care, essential for senior dogs. 10. No full hygiene routine (bath + warm blow-dry), crucial to prevent skin irritation and infections. 11. No careful brushing, even though mats are painful for senior pets. 12. The haircut was changed without the owner’s agreement, increasing stress for an older dog. 13. The dog’s age was used as an excuse, although age does not justify returning a senior pet in a neglected state. Once my dog’s hair grows back, I will take her to another certified professional groomer. After that grooming is completed, I will personally bring her to your salon to show what a properly groomed senior Yorkshire Terrier should look like, including the correct haircut and appropriate level of care expected from a professional grooming service. In the first photo below, you can see our dog immediately after your haircut in August, when we were very pleased, and our little one's appearance immediately after your "professional" grooming in October, where you can clearly see how it was done, so other dog owners can judge for themselves. I recommend you learn to adhere to all necessary standards and requirements for grooming dogs of any age, temperament, and size, and to treat our beloved pets, whose care we entrust to you, with care and compassion. I am very sorry that instead of apologizing, you block reviews, leaving only good ones, and accuse your own customers of dishonesty, even though there is photographic evidence of the results of your work that even a non-professional can evaluate. This review reflects a factual account of my recent grooming appointment. The groomer did not clean my dog’s ears and did not provide the basic hygienic care that is standard for this service. The haircut delivered was substantially different from what was agreed upon prior to the appointment, and these changes were made without my consent. The salon denies any fault and states that the service was performed professionally. I would also like to add to this review a photo of our beloved dog, whose appearance was spoiled for the very first time by a groomer from this salon – after 12 years of regular grooming and participation in shows without a single issue. For transparency, the first two photos were taken the day before the appointment, and the next two photos were taken five minutes after grooming. The contrast is clear and raises serious concerns regarding the quality and completeness of the service provided.
