There is a reason why this place is not busy while neighbor restaurants are crowded. Food was terrible. They put MSG in every side dishes (banchan). In the steam egg as well. We ordered pork jowl and beef intestine, The intestine was frozen one and it tasted like rubber. It was disgusting. The soup was terrible. It was not Korean miso soup. I do not recommend this place
Songhak Korean BBQ is always a great meal, and they've proved us right again! I'm surprised they aren't busier as the food here is always delicious and amazing quality. People always think of Korean BBQ as all you can eat, but you don't need to stuff yourself when the meat quality is as good as it is here! The parking lot is always filled here but neighborhood streets could be open, and you can walk over to this plaza after! Service here is always friendly and welcoming. They are quick to change grills and cook your meat so you can just enjoy your meal.
Kid friendly experience. We came at 5 pm on a Thursday. Staff was kind and patient with our energetic kid. I would like to highlight a few things the Cobis and the beef tongue were excellent. I was able to get Fish here which you don’t get at every restaurant. Lastly, they were able to cook food in the back one we didn’t wanna sit at the grill sounds good. This is a nice bonus so we don’t have to worry about our kid burning himself. Afterwards, when they saw us cutting the meat, they went out of their way to cut the meat off of the bone for us, which is above and beyond and excellent service. Appreciate these small details .
Tried this place for the first time and tried Abosam for the first time and we are hooked! Will definitely be bringing the rest of our family here to try this out. We got the combo with brisket, marinated beef belly and pork jowl + abomasum + water Naengmyun and all of it paired so well together. The waitress recommended eating the meats with pickled onion, a green onion salad and another soybean sprout salad and we somehow managed to eat it ALL. highly recommend! You also don’t smell too much like kbbq which I love!!

We ordered the Combo 3, and every cut of meat was fresh, tender, and packed with flavour. The staff even helped cook the meat to perfection, which made the experience even better. The side dishes were amazing—I loved the kimchi, potato salad, and bean sprouts. Plus, the steamed egg and corn cheese that came with our combo were a delicious bonus! The atmosphere was lively but comfortable, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. Yes, parking can be a bit tricky during peak hours, but it’s 100% worth it. If you're looking for authentic Korean BBQ with top-notch quality and service, this is the place to go! Can’t wait to come back!
