Our server Emily was phenomenal! She was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us choose between different drink and food options. She checked up on us just the right amount of times and was super sweet! The oysters and lobster topper were my favorites.
Jenn is amazing! My husband and I are celebrating our 32 year anniversary and she made it so much better! So thoughtful, kind and informative. We really enjoyed her service. The restaurant and food is amazing! Definitely a 5 star review!
What an amazing experience! We had Robbie as our server and I can definitely say the hospitality was top notch. We had a very detailed and informative start of the menu. When leaving to the restroom, we can back with our napkins folded perfectly. Our drinks never ran dry. We talked and laughed as we knew each other forever! I’m pleased with such a professional and personable experience with Robbie. We started with the croissant loaf and shrimp cocktail. These are 2 menu items you have to try. Best shrimp cocktail I’ve had…and I live on the east coast. The croissant was a memorable appetizer that I suddenly need to find a recipe for. The Maison salad was incredible and very fresh. The filet with truffle butter was incredible. The creamed spinach made me go in for seconds. The Brussel sprouts were good but I wouldn’t order again. The lobster Mac and cheese was a miss. Odd aftertaste. We ended the meal with sticky toffee pudding and a nice celebration cheesecake for a birthday. Sticky toffee pudding was good. The cheesecake the was star! Definitely will be coming here instead of Jeff ruby's when I return to Louisville.
From the very beginning, our experience was phenomenal! Parking was easy, finding the restaurant was easy, and then being seated… we got the best seat in the house. Lalaloved that we chose this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary! We got a champagne toast (excellent champagne by the way!), a great seat next to so much art, and my boyfriend said it was the best steak he’s had (mind you, we’ve gone to so many well known restaurants to try their steaks). I got the short rib plate (that’s just me, this is my goto just because I love me a good short rib) and he got the the wagyu fischers ribeye 14oz. Beautifully presented. Oh, and let’s not forget the smoked old fashion and my custom margarita. Everything was delightful. Our waiter, Sebastian, was super knowledgeable in the industry and the steaks. We loved his recommendations and his entire verse on every single plate. We’d definitely come back with friends to celebrate here. The prices were extremely reasonable for the caliber of meal AND SERVice We got. Chefs kiss to you all!
Har you ever been in a place that makes you wanna kill yourself? Well, This place was nothing like that. All I wanted to do when being here was live even harder. So hard, I wanted to explode, but not die. You know? Anyway, the food smacked as hard as WWE smack down back when Dwayne, yeah, Dwayne The Rock Johnson was smacking people silly. This menus will make you want to take a chair the noggin, IN A GOOD WAY. Food so food you’d wanna get round housed kicked to be an MMA fighter. Don’t even get me started on the service. Bing Bam Bop! Drinks are flowing, food was cruzin. Levi, my boy, god bless him, best server in the game yall. Fastest in the biz. Look if you want a banging meal. Get at Bourre Bon. You won’t regret it. Unless you actually get hit with a chair by The Rock, then in that case my bad. Eat here.
