booked karaoke session from 6-8pm but our mics didn’t work at the beginning. that’s fine as they fixed it and added extra time. when we had 15 minutes left, staff came in the middle of us all singing our hearts out to ask for ID. she said she wasn’t sure if online ID would be accepted, asked her manager then escorted two of us out as we only had ID on our phones. Mind you, i’m 25 lol. and the only reason why we stayed later than 8pm was because of their mic issue. While we waited for our friends to come out, staff waited at the entrance as if we would sneak back inside - for 15 more minutes? be so serious. karaoke itself was good, easy system to use. just weird staff and policies - but looks like we’re not the only ones who have had the same problem!
Had a work function here on 6th Dec 25, and what an amazing aesthetic Stranger Things vibes this place was (it puts your other franchises to shame y'all!)! Pros: the venue, facilities and the ever so eloquent, hilarious and highly accommodating Katy, who was our Strike host for the evening. Katy - thank you for the constant communication and going above and beyond to help us with any delays. Your impressive "thank you" improv speech in the Karaoke room will certainly go down in the history books amongst our WA team as one of the best moments of the night! The cons: likely due to miscommunication on my part, but I thought by giving the dietary requirements that Strike would 'cater' for e.g our vegetarian diets and make veggo versions of the bulk food package that came with the per-person price (e.g. a veggo bruschetta for those who couldn't have chicken bruschetta). Unfortunately there weren't many veggo options on the menu to order on the night. I also feel there could have been more staff on. It was incredibly busy with several Xmas parties going on, and a lot of my team waited +++time just to order their drinks, which really ate into our limited 2hr drinks package. But I do understand it's a super busy time of the year. Katy made everything feel better though :) someone give this woman a raise! Thanks again Strike!
Alright, so, we booked a combined birthday party with 8 people 🥳 at Strike in Perth City. 2 rounds of bowling, food, a drinks tab, and it was the best evening! I booked this in advance and was immediately contacted by Strike staff advising they were happy to have us and if there was anything they could do to make it more special. When we arrived the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, particularly our host Nic was a legend and got everyone in the mood to relax and have fun. They pulled out some prizes for us, were very accommodating, and I can’t recommend them enough, and the venue; great vibes and a great time. Everyone loved it and we will be back. 😊
We booked for karaoke which is great (excellent song list, great technology, QR codes in the room to order from). The food and drinks available include a good range, including dietary requirements. The stand out is the service. From the front desk, to bar staff, to the people bringing food and drinks into the karaoke room - everyone was warm, friendly and made it look like they were having fun. Things like complimenting song choices are extra steps that create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Thanks for a great night!
I came here for my birthday and had an amazing time! 🥳✨️ The venue has a super cool retro vibe with vintage decor and glowing neon lighting that really enhances the experience; it felt like stepping into an old-school arcade. We spent the evening playing the games, which were super fun and kept us entertained for hours (we are saving our tickets for the Hello Kitty Monopoly 🎀🐱🤞). We also tried the cauliflower tacos during happy hour—only $5 and absolutely delicious! Vegan friendly, too, which is a huge plus. 🌱🌮😋 Great vibes, friendly staff, and heaps to keep you entertained. Can't recommend it enough! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
