I got an IPL for $750 which did nothing. nothing peeled off or flaked off and it never got darker first as it's supposed to indicate healing and skin change. Ive had them before with results after 1 session. the lady at the counter was more concerned about me spending $2100 more dollars on a full package or buying a moisturizer. not only that, but this completely wasted my time because I specifically did it during the holidays to heal before going back to work. the tech kept saying your skin damage is close to the surface so this session will do this.. absolutely no change.
Honest review — please read before booking with Dr. Alexe I’m sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision and hopefully avoid what I went through. About three weeks ago, I received Botox from Dr. Alexe at this med spa, and unfortunately, it resulted in ptosis (a droopy eyelid). This has been an incredibly hard experience. It has affected my appearance, my confidence, and even my ability to work comfortably. During my appointment, I felt uncomfortable and poorly guided. Rather than explaining her professional recommendations, she asked me how many units I wanted; something I didn’t feel qualified to answer as a patient. I also told her I was concerned about mid-face volume loss, but she continued pushing under-eye filler, even after I said multiple times I wasn’t interested. What stood out the most, though, was how rough she was when injecting. It was the most painful Botox experience I’ve ever had, not because of the product itself, but because of the lack of gentleness in her technique. I left that appointment uneasy, and unfortunately, within days, my eyelid began to droop. Despite this experience, I want to make it very clear that the spa itself took accountability. They immediately stepped in, treated me with kindness, and even refunded me for the Botox. I especially want to thank Nurse Dannielli, who has gone above and beyond to support me through this. She showed compassion, empathy, and genuine care,she treated me like a human being, not a case to manage. She, along with Sahara, are the reason I will continue to come here. If you visit this spa, I highly recommend requesting Sahara or Dannielli. They are excellent providers who truly care about their patients. That said, I would strongly advise staying far away from Dr. Alexe. While mistakes can happen, the experience and professionalism of your injector make all the difference and unfortunately, mine fell short in both.
I’ve been really happy with my experience seeing Danielli. She has an honest approach — no pressure, with a focus on natural enhancement and based on what would actually work for me. The results were obvious, but balanced. I still look like myself, just a bit more refreshed. The office is well-run, and the whole process was efficient and comfortable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for subtle, high-quality results from someone you can trust.
Danielle Was an absolutely amazing injector. Not only did she have a great energy and was beyond knowledgeable about the products and explaining the process, but I am beyond thrilled with my results. My lips look amazing 🤩 exactly what I pictured in my head. I have received several compliments from friends. We have a plan for the next time which I really love. The entire staff from front desk to the medical assistant, are warm, friendly, and inviting. I highly recommend Danielle and suddenly slim Med Spa. I will be flying in to see them again! 🩷
Danielli is the top in her class. I have been going to Suddenly Slimmer for about 5 years now. After relocating from The Bay Area, I was super skeptical about who I could entrust one of my most important attributes to, my face….and to this day, she is the only one I trust. I have been treated in Beverly Hills & The Bay, and have never been impressed. She delivers the highest quality not only in care, but professional service. The fact she actually loves what she does and has a passion for it - is just an added bonus. I would list all the treatments I have had, however, I don’t know all of them. That’s not my specialty, that’s hers. I am adding a photo, I am 52, and prefer only the most le natural look. If you are looking for someone that cares about you, and your looks passionately, you have found the woman of your dreams.
