I had a wonderful experience. I needed a tire patched and they were pretty busy said they couldn't get to it for about and hour and half to two hours. Not more than 35 minutes later I was walking out the door. They were so thoughtful and helpful. They were quick and efficient, and the price was very reasonable. I would go back to this location. Thank you for getting back on the road!
I had a screw in the middle of my tire. I was able to make an appt online for the following morning and they got me in pretty much right on time. Didn’t take too long, staff was friendly and the repair was super affordable. I’d use their services again.
I am very disappointed with my recent experiences at this shop. I brought my vehicle in for a routine service, along with several recommendations listed on a prior invoice. Approximately one week after the work was completed, I began experiencing a new issue and returned for an inspection. At that time, the service advisor Nikkie confirmed that the problem was related to one of the previously recommended services. After paying for a repair that did not resolve my original concern, I brought the vehicle back again for another inspection. During a phone call the following day with a technician I believe was Joshua, I was told the issue was unrelated to anything listed on the prior repair invoices. While discussing repair costs, I was repeatedly encouraged to consider financing options, despite clearly stating that those options would not work for me. Additionally, the issue identified by technician Ben was ultimately not the source of the problem. I eventually took my vehicle to another shop, where the actual issue was identified quickly and accurately. What frustrates me most is not only the misdiagnosis, but the significant time and money I invested in a service provider I trusted. I expected a higher level of transparency and technical expertise, particularly given the cost of the services performed. I have been a customer of Telle Tire since it operated as KC Auto, but based on this experience, I'm uncertain whether I'll return due to apparent gaps in diagnostic accuracy. I am sharing my experience so that others can make informed decisions. I did not take writing this review lightly, and I encourage customers to do their due diligence and seek additional opinions when necessary. I hope the shop takes steps to improve its diagnostic processes, accuracy, and overall communication with customers moving forward.
We have all been to many mechanic style places before, and usually get the runaround on prices, availability for appointments or even the up charges. However, this was not the case. I called yesterday with a need to just get brake fluid replaced. While at first being put on hold, a gentleman answered (Jason) and was quick to get an appointment first thing in the morning. When I arrived there was Jason again, friendly and was able to get me in and out within 45 minutes! Was impressed all around, would recommend this Telle Tire.
We have been going here for years, before it was Telle. It used to be fantastic, honest, quality service at a reasonable price but has gone so downhill since taking the Telle name. Don't fall for their "premium parts" spiel. Don't let that comfort you about the price, you will keep hemorrhaging cash here if you trust their assessments. Listen to your gut. We took our truck there fall '24 for brake pads & tires, last week they told us the tires & brake pads were completely bad & needed to be replaced (BTW they were having a Black Friday tire sale at the time). "But we use the best premium parts!" That only last a year??? Premium tires that only last a year on a city-driving truck & NEED to be replaced now?? Multiple employees presented this sale to us so it wasn't just one overlooking the maintenance their shop has done. The last maintenance we took it in for was suspension & rotors (brake pads are not under warranty if you dont do rotors at the same time but they wont tell you that upfront -- we had to ask) & when it was "ready for pickup," when asked they told us it had NOT been test-driven but they'd do it (Who calls that ready? What if there's an issue & now your customer is sitting waiting for their "ready" vehicle to be fixed AGAIN?). Obviously they did not because the truck pulled heavy to the right. When we took it back, they decided to say that their premium parts need to "be broken in and sometimes an adjustment is needed after." Definitely not that they didn't test drive it, definitely not that they didn't put it back together quite right & messed up the toe. We asked & they assured. What did they adjust to fix it? The toe. They decided not to charge for that though. They will lie to your face like it's company policy & stumble through rote responses when you call them out on it. Other places have just as good parts WITHOUT used car salesman energy. Won't be back.
