I went to Best Nails Boston last week and it was one of the worst beauty experiences I’ve ever had. The technician clearly lacked proper training and completely destroyed my nails. They drilled straight through my natural nails, leaving them thin, painful, and damaged. The gel application is lumpy, uneven, and sloppy, and every nail is a different shape and length. If I had bought stick-on nails at CVS, they would have looked better and been higher quality than this horrific manicure. What makes this even worse is the pricing. Manicures with their weakest technicians start at $105 and end up around $140 after tax and tip, and their so-called “top masters” are $150+, which comes out to nearly $200 all in. Charging luxury prices for work that looks like a first-time attempt is outrageous. The most disturbing part of the experience, though, was what I was told during my appointment. My nail technician herself said that the salon is not legally registered to provide aesthetic services and mentioned that management is “always scared the police will come.” Hearing something like that directly from someone working on your nails is shocking and deeply unsettling. This place feels like a complete scam from start to finish. My nails are ruined, my money is gone, and now I have to spend even more to fix the damage elsewhere. Do not come here unless you want your nails destroyed and your wallet ripped off.
Got my nails done here for the first time with Nayar and had a wonderful experience. I was very comfortable and felt welcomed even though I’d never been there before. I came in with an extremely overgrown set of Gel X extensions and Nayar expertly filed them down without damaging my natural nail bed! I was extremely impressed with her attention to detail and how healthy my nails seemed when usually they become extremely brittle and weak. She cut my cuticles perfectly, shaped my nails exactly how I wanted, and put polish on to perfection. It was expensive but I’d say definitely worth it for the precision and care taken in regards to your nail beds. I’ll def be coming back
As someone who got eastern european manicures in eastern europe, I was looking for similar quality in Boston. Hanna is a real professional and did an amazing job! The shape is perfect, the quality is perfect and the nails last extremely long!!! i’m so happy with the result!!!!

After the nail tech I had been seeing for 3+ years left the MiniLuxe I had been going to, I was having a difficult time finding an artist who could do my nails (shape specifically), the way I liked. I had my first appointment with Hanna and have never looked back. I've been seeing Hanna at the salon for about 6 months now and she is the best tech I've ever been to. I get gel overlay for short nails with design and Hanna crushes it every time. One set can last me 4-5 weeks without any chipping or damage. Highly recommend!
