I have been going to The Method for over 3 years now. As a 79 year old woman, my trainer Wyatt (who is also the manager of The Method) has increased my strength, balance, and flexibility enormously. Wyatt's management has ensured that all of the trainers have outstanding knowledge and experience in training and caring for the human body. There are no harmful training practices here. An outstanding business.
Great place to have personalized training! I needed a kickstart to get back into a healthy routine when I moved here, and Sean and all the trainers were so supportive as I found my groove again in the gym. Whether you are a beginner to the gym or a former athlete (me), workouts are tailored to what you need and what your goals are. And I like the flexibility with when sessions can occur! Would recommend to all my friends and family!
I’ve been working with Rutland at The Method for about six months now and can’t recommend him enough. He takes a true whole-body approach to training, not just lifting heavy, but also focusing on smaller, stabilizing muscles that make a huge difference in strength and injury prevention. He’s extremely knowledgeable about nutrition and overall health, and he’s incredibly flexible with scheduling. I have a very demanding job, and he always finds a way to make it work and keep me on track. If you’re on the fence about personal training, come see for yourself what makes it so worth it. Sean is an outstanding trainer. His depth of knowledge across all aspects of training is impressive, and his warmups are always thoughtfully tailored to the workout ahead. Every session feels purposeful, with exercises that are not only functional, but also designed to activate supporting muscles you didn't even know you had. There is a seamless flow to his training style that makes the time fly by. He's focused, engaging, and never distracted--no phone-checking, no autopilot, just 100% attention and energy. Plus, his military stories and analogies add a fun and memorable twist to the sessions. He not only trains, he teaches, which will allow me to train on my own with better results. Sean is personable, funny and genuinely invested in your progress. I almost hesitate to write this excellent review of Sean as I don't want him to get so booked that I lose my preferred time slot.
