Visiting from the east coast and had a great haircut from Dejon! He called me early to let me know he was running a bit late, so I didn't have to wait around his shop for him. He was friendly and professional! Took his time and gave me a GREAT fade! Just an overall fantastic experience and I highly recommend him!!
This was a pleasant surprise to find a black barber in the city who really knew his clippers. I'm usually quiet in the chair, but it was a good conversation, and he is a native of SF, so he had ALL the good spots to recommend. Highly recommend.
I have been going to Dejon for almost two years now. When he left the spot on Polk Street to open his shop I followed him there. Not only is he the best barber in San Francisco I have experienced, he's one of the best barbers I have had in years. Every time I get a cut people compliment how clean it looks. He's also a smart and personable guy who is easy to talk to, which makes a difference when you are sitting in a barber chair for an hour.
Booked an appointment 9:07am the day before for hot towel shave and hair on the morning of my wedding. 9am appointment, confirmed by email. Turn up at 8:55 shop is fully closed, waited until 9:06. Had to leave and find another barber as am on a schedule today. Barber next door (577) was open and nice guy, but unfortunately was already booked.
