My husband and I got married here in October 2022 (a shockingly long time to wait before writing a review), but as we approach our 3rd anniversary I felt compelled to leave a review. The venue is a hidden gem in Glasgow city centre, you step inside and are transported to another world. We loved it the moment we visited. Nedka was an absolute breath of fresh air and a credit to the venue throughout the whole planning process. She was easy going and relaxed whilst making sure everything was done expertly with no stress in the lead up and on the day. The staff team on our wedding day were efficient, friendly and helpful. We are so so glad we chose The Savings Bank to celebrate our special day. Thanks a million everyone!
Was here for a Celtic Connections event. Small intimate venue with good acoustics. Service was friendly and quick. Architecture is stunning too. Would definitely go back for another event.
We celebrated our wedding here in February 2025 and it was wonderful. All meetings before the event were relaxed and informative and Nedka couldn’t do enough to ensure that every detail was exactly as we wanted it. The day went smoothly and the guests were amazed at the venue and the standard of service. We opted for the Greek sharing platters and the food was absolutely amazing. I’d highly recommend the savings bank as the perfect alternative, laid back venue for a wedding with a difference!
Cannot say enough about Nedka and the team at The Savings Bank. We booked our wedding reception in there and we could not have been treated better. Communication was exceptional from initial meeting to see the place, right through to the day itself. Nedka came in the day before to allow us to set up flowers etc, and on the day, her and her team worked tirelessly to ensure our big day went off without any hitches. If you are thinking of a decent venue for circa 200 people, look no further. Our wedding was a great day enjoyed by everyone who came along, thank you Nedka and your team for everything you done for us. Mr& Mrs Gillespie x
